[h=1]Surestream Petroleum awarded exploration licences in Malawi[/h]Surestream Petroleum Limited is pleased to announce that it has been awarded new exploration licences in Malawi. It has secured Blocks 2 and 3 which have a combined area of 20,000 square kilometres and are located on Lake Malawi.
With this award, Surestream becomes the 3rd largest net acreage holder in the East Africa rift system (1st in Great Lakes).

Christopher Pitman, CEO and founding member of Surestream Petroleum, commented:
“We are delighted to be awarded these new high-quality licences and look forward to working in Malawi. Securing these blocks underlines Surestream Petroleum’s commitment to building a diverse exploration portfolio in Africa and this represents an important milestone for the company as it further establishes itself in the Great Lakes area.”

Surestream has conducted a regional study of the east African rift and high graded the basins which have the greatest similarities to the productive Albertine basin off Uganda. Lake Malawi, together with the Burundi acreage, lies along the trend of the western branch of the rift system, the only part of the rift system to be proven productive to date.

These guys are not serious. Kuanzia mwanzo hadi mwisho, Tanzania haijatajwa: Wanawataja Burundi na Malawi, kana kwamba pale ziwani sisi wa-tz ni not significant at (P>0.05).

Your president has conceded to the matter of national interest. He has bowed over the Malawi's Banda. Even though, as an ordinary citizen I could not see any difference if the lakes belongs to Tanzanian or not to the extent that the Fishermen/women are still allowed to fish.

Tanzania has all the gas and Minerals all over but nothing tangible has emerged out of it.....there is nothing like priority, accountability, development.....and as a result none of our leader has the gut to fight for the land because they are not accountable for the country in the first place.....let the Malawians explore the resource perhaps they could use it even better.....:alien::alien::alien:
