What went wrong on saturday night?

Duuh, 30seconds nuksi!!

Halafu Sky eti wakaweka PPV, sasa sijui waliingiza kiasi gani, maana I was one of many who werent ready to pay for that.

Funny thing is, Frank Warren kama analalamika eti Khan's trainer recommended him as a good boxer to fight next........eeeh yeah, what did you want, another easy one?Lol.

Huyu na Audrey Harrison ni same 'ol story.

By the way, any feedback on the Tanzanian undercard for that fight?

I really wanted him to do well but his chin was an obvious question, which has now been firmly answered. It will be very, very difficult for him to do well now, every fighter will be looking to bomb him out with an early all-out assault and if Khan insists on charging into it then it'll be lights-out again.

Next option for him is to swallow the pride and aim at domestic fights and honours. Forget Euro, definitely forget world (especially US and South America!), just try to make the national-level fights that could draw interest and work like hell on that defense but I doubt if there is any kind of training in the world that can change a glass chin into an iron one!

True, nakubaliana nawe. Jamaa boxer mzuri (weak chin for sure) but they were taking the piss with the fighters they were choosing, and you cant keep doing that for 4yrs.......he might as well shoulda remained an amateur and win another Olympic medal.

    Kuna joke inasambaa.....

Waingereza bana, dem switch on u with the quickness!!

Hii ni sawa kabisa na what is happening to Andy Murray, akishinda utawaskia wakisema 'pride of britain' lakini akichemsha- 'useless scottish w..ker!'

Ooh dear, ameanza kumsaka mchawi sasa, I dont think it was his trainer's fault he got knocked out....

Trainer Rubio is ditched by Khan

Amir Khan has fired trainer Jorge Rubio after just one fight as he looks to bounce back from suffering the first defeat of his career.

The Commonwealth lightweight champion lost his unbeaten record when knocked out by Breidis Prescott on 6 September.

A spokesman for Khan's promoter, Frank Warren's Sports Network said: "Jorge has been relieved of his duties."

A new trainer has yet to be confirmed but top American Freddie Roach is thought to be in the frame again.

The decision comes despite Khan's insistence, in the wake of his defeat at Manchester's MEN Arena, that he would stick with Rubio - regardless of the Cuban's fateful decision to choose Prescott as the Bolton fighter's opponent.

The Colombian went into the fight with 17 knockouts from 19 fights and promptly despatched the 2004 Olympic lightweight silver medallist in just 54 seconds.

Khan, 21, sacked Salford trainer Oliver Harrison early this year and then surprisingly announced Rubio as his new coach this summer despite being linked with a host of top names, including Roach.
