Raisi Obama amemteua Alfonso Lenhardt mwanajeshi mstaafu aliestaafu mwaka 1990 akiwa Meja Jenerali kuwa balozi wa Marekani nchini Tanzania...

Katika uteuzi huo unaoanza mwezi Julai 01 Rais Obama anaamini bwana Alfonso atasaidia katika kuleta uhusiano mwema kati ya Tanzania na Marekani....

Who is Hon. Alfonso E. Lenhardt?

President Barack Obama Ambassador-designate to the United Republic of Tanzania.

Since May 2004, Lenhardt has been the President and CEO of the non-profit National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC). He was also Senior Vice President of Government Relations for The Shaw Group. On September 4, 2001, Lenhardt was appointed the 36th Sergeant-at-Arms of the United States Senate and became the first African-American to serve as an officer of the Congress. He also served as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Council on Foundations.

Lenhardt retired from the U.S. Army in August 1997 as a Major General with more than 30 years of service in leadership and management positions. His last position with the Army was Commanding General, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, at Fort Knox, KY, where he managed and directed an organization of more than 13,000 people in over 1,800 locations. He also served as the senior military police officer for all police operations and security matters throughout the Army's worldwide sphere of influence.

Lenhardt was born in New York City and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska, a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Science in the Administration of Justice from Wichita State University. He is also a graduate of the 94th Session of the FBI National Academy; the United States Army Criminal Investigations Supervisors' program, and the National War College, National Defense University.

About the Ambassadorial appointment of Lenhardt and others, President Obama said, "Americans will be fortunate to have these distinguished men and women as their representatives abroad. Their talent, experience, and dedication will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen America's partnerships around the world and confront the challenges of the 21st century. I am grateful for their service and look forward to working with each of them."

Hivi nyie wana JF kwa nini mnakuwa wa kukurupuka tu?? Kuna haja gani ya kuiita hii breaking news?? Jamani jamani hebu kuweni waungwana kwa kweli si kila kitu mnakimbilia kupost as a breaking news shida ni nini haswa?? Au mnataka watu wakimbilie kuangalia alafu kilichomo ndani ni ujinga mtupu?? Je, JF ni ya member wa zamani tu? ukiwa member mpya unyamaze kimya na utulie kama unayenyolewa?

Kwa ushauri, unataka mods wafanye nini kuhusiana na hili suala la members wapya?

Hili suala la member mpya limekuwa kama kauli mbiu ya wanaJF wa zamani.

Hakuna anayekataa Jf kuwa na members wapya tunachosema hapa si lazima kila threads ukimbilie kuiita breaking news while haina hata haja ya kuitwa breaking news, hebu angalia hoja zilizokuwa zinaletwa huko nyuma na angalia za sasa hivi... n'way sijui wapi tunaipeleka hii JF

Saa nyingine new members bado hawajajua utaratibu na "status quo" ya JF. Mimi sioni kwa nini imekugusa sana yeye kuweka tu breaking news. It is obvious alicho plan kimework maana umeingia, ukasoma kisha ukatoa posts. Vitu vingine bwana siyo lazima uvi lalamikie mi sioni yeye kuiweka hii kama breaking news ina affect vipi JF au inaku affect vipi wewe binafsi.
 
Hii feature ya breaking news inakuwa na maana pale thread inapoanzishwa tu.Kama mtu anaiona habari ya uteuzi huu say within a few minutes or hours of being public, then it will be breaking news.

Sasa wewe ukija kesho na kulalamika kwamba hii si breaking news bila kuangalia muda ilipokuwa posted wewe ndiye utakuwa huelewi nature ya posting.

Halafu contrary to some expectations, breaking news si lazima iwe muhimu sana. Ila ni muhimu iwe imetolewa kipindi kifupi baada ya kuwa public.

Kwa hiyo ukisema hii si breaking news kwa maana ya kwamba ilipotolewa ilikuwa public kwa kipindi kirefu tayari utakuwa sawa.Lakini ukisema si breaking news kwa sababu si muhimu, au ilipotolewa ilikuwa timely, lakini ulipoiona wewe ilishakuwa stale, then utakuwa huelewi maana ya breaking news (for the former) au nature ya posting (for the later).

Given the nature of posting, the feature is useful for only a short moment.It would be nice if these geeks would consider putting an option to expire the status after a few hours.

Some people are overly concerned with things such as in which forum posts are, or under which status is it posted.To me that is pretty much like trying to herd cats.I just go with the latest posts.And I do not expect anybody to be as meticulous as I would want, therefore no dissapointment or needless irks about breaking news status, which I hardly notice. If you are following not only the threads, but also if they are breaking news or not it could be a subtle indication of a lack of activities.

Wewe ni mmoja wa wanachama wa zamani wenye tabia ya hii inayofanania na 'kuwanyanyapaa' member wapya.
