    Wana JF leo nilikuwa katika mmoja ya Mikutano nchini Canada. Katika kujadili masuala ya husuyo Tanzania na bila kufahamu kama walikuwemo wa-TZ ndani ya Mkutano ule uliokuwa unazungumzia Utalii Afrika, mzungu mmoja kutoka USA akaamka na kusema wazi mbele ya kikao kuwa .. jamani muendapo Tanzania msipande mabasi yatokayo Arusha/Moshi kwenda Dar... mtakufa na mtakuja kusahauliwa na familia zenu. Ametoa ushuhuda alivyosafiri na basi toka Arusha kwenda Dar bila kutaja basi ya Kampuni ipi na kusikitika alivyozomewa na abiria waliokuwemo ndani ya basi hilo. Abiria walimtaka ashuke kama yeye anaogopa kufa na walimwambia wao wanaharaka na wanataka kufika Dar mapema. Mzungu anasema ilibidi anywe wine/POMBE ili alewe na asijue kinachoendelea hadi alipofika Ubungo na kuashwa na Girlfriend wake.

    Alitoa takwimu za ajali Tanzania na inavyo claim maisha ya watu huko TZ.

    Nilijaribu kuomba nafasi nikapata na nikatoa blaa blaa ninazozijua ili angalau kutetea nchi yangu.Maswali yalikuja kama nyuki...

    USHAURI: Kwanza ni aibu kwa Taifa kushindwa kupunguza ajali zisizo za lazima kama hizi za barabarani.Pili, pato kubwa la Taifa linatokana na utalii, mambo kama haya yatachangia kupunguza mapato ya Serikali..


    Sitaki kuzungumza mambo mengi lakini mnaweza changia nini kifanyike, wafukunyungu watazipeleka kwa JK.

    Ajali nyingi sana za barabarani zinaepukika. Madereva wengi sana Tanzania ni reckless drivers! Pia wanaozijua na kuziheshimu sheria za uendeshaji magari ni wachache sana.

    Kwa hiyo, huko mbeleni sioni hilo tatizo la ajali za barabarani kupungua. Tutaendelea kufa hadi hapo tutakapobadili fikra zetu na kuanza kuthamini uhai wetu.

    Lushoto kwenda DAR,mbaya zaidi nilikosa seat na kwa ulazima wa safari nikakubali kukaa zile seat ndogo za kati,kwa bahati mbaya nilikaa karibu na dereva,amini usiamini niliomba nihamie seat za nyuma nisione kinachokuja mbele yetu inatisha na inatisha kwa kweli.

    chanzo kikubwa cha ajali ni abiria wenyewe huwa wanampa kichwa dereva kwamba wanataka kuwahi bila kujua unaweza ukawahi ukiwa mfu... Cha kufanya ni serikali kuputisha sheria maalum kwa mabasi yq mikoani maana hawa jamaa hata waingiapo kwenye miji mikubwa huwa wanakwenda kwa mwendokasi mkubwa sana... Tuanze na wananchi then serikali itafuata. Tuzionee huruma roho zetu jaman....

    Mimi naona suala kubwa ni ufinyu wa barabara, Highway zote ni nyembamba nadhani watu wote ambao huendesha magari wanaelewa hili, kuna wakati unapishana na gari lingine unalazimika kulipisha kwa bega wewe ukiwa ndani ya gari lako.

    Solution ni kwamba inabidi uwepo makakati wa muda mrefu wa kuwa na njia mbili: yaani wanaoelekea upande mmmoja wasikutane head on na wanaokuja opposite:

    suala la pili ni kuwa mdau wa kukampeni ajali linaachiwa jeshi la polisi tu, sio sawa!

    Kama hizi insurance company zingekuwa zinapata lawsuit kwa kila accident zisingekubali zingeingilia kati katika kampeni hii na amini ajali zitapungua.

    NI Suala la kushangaza wanasheria wetu hawaruhusiwi kuwasaidia wananchi kuwaelewesha sheria za Bima na haki zao, Anzeni kuwasue uone kama hawajafilisika na hapo kutapelekea nao kuchangia ktk kampeni hizo.

    Sheria ya bima kubwa ibakie kwa gari za private na si public transports, ndio mambo haya ya ajali za hovyo kuzuiwa.

    Mkuu hapo kwenye red; mabasi ya hiyo kampuni hufahamika kama Princess Muro na mengi ni ma-YUTONG (ya kichina) mapya. Last week nilikuwa nasafiri kutoka Dar kwenda Dodoma kwa basi jingine lakini for sure jinsi dereva wa Princess Muro alivyokuwa anaendesha na ku-overtake kati ya Kibaha - Chalinze (kwani baada ya hapo hatukumwona tena) ilikuwa ni balaa. Usingeweza kuamini basi lile lilikuwa linaendeshwa na binadamu labda ilikuwa ni jini ndio alikuwa nafanya kazi ile.

    Pamoja na serikali kuhakiki leseni za madereva hivi karibuni bado naona haijasaidia kitu hasa kwa baadhi ya maderva kama hawa. Nakubaliana na wewe kuna haja ya kuwepo kwa sheria endapo basi litapata ajali ya kizembe abiria pekee ndio walindwe na bima. Hii itasaidia angalau wamiliki kuajiri madereva wenye akili, nidhamu, huruma, na hata hofu ya Mungu.

    Duh! Pole ndugu najua ulikuwa na wakati mgumu kutetea nchi yako ambayo haiteteki. Ukiwa north America ukipanda basi ni usafiri wa raha sana na usingizi unalala mnono kwenye Greyhound lakini sio bongo. Niliwahi kupanda Kampala coach kwenda Arusha ilitoka mchana saa nane tulii overtake basi lililotoka saa tano asubuhi hapo ndio ujue balaa lake.

    ingekuwa ajali mtu unapona kwa kuvaa condom ingekuwa heri...i think better they start to introduce each passenger to wear helmet on the way for more protection..

    Tatizo la nchi yetu ni kwamba dereva anapimwa kwakuweza kunyonga usikani nakubadili gia sio ubongo wake nauwezo wakuamua jambo kwabusara!Wenzetu wanaangalia mambo mengi ikiwemo akili yake dereva hasa kwenye maamuzi.

    Ili kupunguza kama si kuondoa kabisa janga hili, yatupasa tufanye yafuatayo:
    • Kupanua barabara kuu
    • Kujenga barabara mbili mbili, ya kwenda na kurudi.
    • Kuangalia sheria za barabarani ikiwamo utoaji leseni, bima kwa wafanyabiashara za usafiri wa abiria, adhabu kwa wanaosababisha ajali, adhabu kwa kampuni. kama inakidhi hali halisi iliyopo.
    • Kuangalia upya biashara nzima ya usafirishaji, nafikiri Kampuni ya usafirishaji yoyote isiwe ya mtu mmoja, bali iwe ni ya watu kadhaa wenye hisa, na yenye bodi ya wakurugenzi ambao wanakuwa na majukumu ya kusimamia uendeshaji wa kampuni, hii itasaidia kuweka uwajibikaji. Hapa tuanahitaji kutunga sheria ambayo itaanisha vigezo hivi vya kamuni ya usafirishaji.     • Tuendeleze njia mbadala za usafiri, njia kubwa ya usafiri ni reli, tutandaze mtandao wa reli nchi nzima, nchi nyingi zilizoendelea, na zinazoendelea mf China, wanatumia reli kama njia kuu ya usafiri, kwa siku kunaweza kuwa na treni 10 zinaenda mji mmoja. Kama tukiboresha njia hizi mbadala, tutawezesha ushindani wa kibiashara, jambo ambalo litahamasisha uboreshaji wa huduma, ikiwapo pamboja na usalama wa abiria.
    • Mwisho, si kwa umuhimu, jeshi la polisi liwe na uzalendo, askari unaona basi lina tairi kipara, lakini unaliacha liende na safari, au umegundua lina kasoro fulani, unatoza faini halafu unaliacha liendee na safari, mi naona bora abiria wakwame na safari kuliko kuchinjwa.     nadhani mabasi yote yangekuwa na gps system ambazo zingesaidia traffic ku-track speed. sababu wamejaribu deploy tochi za kutosha, ila kinachotokea ni madereva kupunguza mwendo kwenye vituo vya traffic.
