Mpk jana waliookolewa ni 750,maiti zimepatikana 263,na mudahuu wa saa3 asubuh meli yauokozi mv serengeti imeshusha maiti zaid ya 800 mm nipo hapa bandarini unguja hao maiti wameokotwa wakielea bado meli hawajaifikia iko ktk kinakirefu sana chini ya bahar,sasa kwamahesabu waliookolewa 750,mait zajana karibu 300 naleo zimepatikana maiti 800 sasa hapo ni hesabu 1850,serikali iache kudanganya watu.tunajionea kwa macho kila kitu hatudanganyiki.
naomba niweke kwenye kumbukumbuzangu kuwa hii ni tarifa mhimu kwangu...

Watz huwa hatuoendi kujifunza kutokana na makosa...leo hii serikali inatudanganya halafu sisi tunabaki kuishabikia, ona sasa mambo ya Mkapa yameanza kurudi na ajali za meli..
 
Shuhuda mwengine anaeleza ya kuwa alipofika bandarini saa 12.30 magharibi tayari meli ilikwishajaa na tangazo la kwamba abiria wasiendelee kupanda lilitolewa,sijui na nani?.Hata hivyo abiria ama kwa kujuana au rushwa waliendelea kupanda mpaka saa 3.30 usiku muda mfupi kabla chombo kuondoka.
Wakati kinaondoka kilionekana wazi na watu waliokuwepo gatini kwamba kinakwenda upande upande.Abiria maskini hawakujua na hawakuwa na uchaguzi.Nahodha,mabaharia na akina nanihii pale bandarini waliona na walikuwa wanajuwa.
Ningekuwa Nahodha ningesema..... SIONDOI CHOMBO MPAKA ARIRIA WAPUNGUZWE !.
Ningekuwa ni mhusika pale bandarini ningetoa amri wakati meli imeinamia ubavu hata mkondoni haijafika...... RUDISHA MELII!
 
lakini pia hata hao 163 ni wengi.....na hata kama ni mtu mmoja amekufa bado ni ajali vile vile na ni uzembe wa serikali....kwa nini meli imezama
Kweli ni wengi na hata mmoja ni kifo.Tatizo ni pale tunaposema waliokufa wala hawakufa,hii ni dharau kwa wafiwa.

Tanzania has had these marine accidents many times but it seems the aothorities never learn anything from these tragedies. One would have thought that after the tragic aaccident of MV Bukoba, the marine and surface transport authorities on both sides of the union would have put in place competent and well equiped disaster management instruments; that is not in our leaders' priorities it seems and our people continue to die when they would have been spared their lives! Accountability for failure has never been a culture of theccm government hence do not expect anyperson to be punished for this fragic negligence.

Wasafiri wenye utambuzi wa mambo ya kiusalama na wenye uzoefu wa safari za meli waliamua kuahirisha safari zao.

Meli hii ilifika Zanzibar ikiwa imekwishajaa abiria kupita kiasi na abiria wengine zaidi wakapanda humo.

Hali ya hewa na nguvu ya mkondo wa maji vimechangia kuizamisha meli hii na hata nahodha hakuona hilo.

Meli ilianza kuyumba mara tu ilipoondoka pale bandarini Zanzibar na ikaanza kuzama kilomita 30 kutoka Zanzibar.

Idadi ya waliofariki inaweza kupita idadi ile ya MV Bukoba ambayo mpaka juzi ilikuwa imesimama kwenye 894 na hii itakuwa ndio kubwa katika nchi yetu.

Natoa pole sana kwa watanzania wenzangu wote waliopoteza ndugu zao ktk ajali hii,tuko pamoja ktk hali hii ya majonzi,moyo unaniuma kama nipo Zanzibar,najua Mungu atawapa nguvu na kuwafariji,tunawaombea kwa mambo yote hasa uokozi, na waliookolewa wapone haraka,naandika haya huku machozi yananilenga, sina mengi ila tuko pamoja Pemba na Zanzibar yote.Rai yangu serikali ijatahidi kwa kadiri iwezavyo kutoa msaada unaohitajika.

Hii ajali itakuwa ndio kubwa kuliko zote Tanzania na pengine Afrika.
Kumbuka wengi wa abiria ni watoto waliotoka likizo.
Pale bandarini kuna jamaa aliyewahi kuponea chupuchupu kufa katika ajali nyengine ya meli.Alipoona jinsi umati ulilvyo ndani ya meli alinyerereka na kurudi nyumbani.Meli ilipozama ilitupa watu baharini kama taka.
Askari wa bandari walipokea chochote ndipo wakaruhusu meli kuondoka huku tayari ilikuwa inavuja ndani.Au hakuna utaratibu wa kukagua ndani mpaka kwenye injini kabla meli kuondoka!.

Chini ya chumba cha nahodha mkuu (captain) zipo ghorofa 2 na hizi ndizo inavyoonekana kukusudiwa hao abiria 650 kwani kuna viti vingi na kawaida ya meli hizi wengi ya watu hukaa chini kiasi kwamba mtu akikusudia kuinuka kwenda popote hukanyaga wengine.
Baadhi ya abiria waliookolewa wanasema manahodha walipohisi hawawezi kudhibiti watu hawa katika vyumba waliwafungia ili nao wasiiinuke na kuhamanika kama wenzao uwanjani kwa mbele ambako ndiko hasa huo umma ulikokuwa.

Awali habari zilipoanza kutoka kuhusu kuzama kwa meli ya mv Spice ilielezwa kuwa zaidi ya watu 2000 wanahofiwa kufa.

Habari zimebadilika mpaka vyombo vya habari vinatangaza watu 163 kufa na zaidi ya 500 kuokolewa.

Kwa wajuzi wa safari za meli na hali ilivyokuwa siku meli ilipoanza safari na kwamba meli yenyewe imezama tena katikati ya bahari zipo kila sababu kuamini kwamba maisha ya watu yamepuuzwa kwa faida za kisiasa.

Ukweli utabaki ni ule wa mwanzo kwamba watu 2000 wanahofiwa kufa. Binafsi nina sababu za kuamini kuwa zaidi ya 1000 watakuwa wamekufa iwapo watakaookolewa watajumlisha idadi ya 2000.

Spice Islander I was a 836 GRT Ro-Ro ferry which was built in Greece in 1967 as Marianna. She was renamed Apostolos P following a sale in 1988. She was sold to a Honduran company in 2007 and renamed Spice Islander I. On 10 September 2011, she sank with large loss of life.
[h=2][edit] Description[/h]The ship was 60.00 metres (196 ft 10 in) long, with a beam of 11.40 metres (37 ft 5 in). She was assessed at 836 GRT, 663 NRT, 225 DWT. The ship was propelled by two Poyaud 12VUD25 diesel engines, of 1,560 horsepower (1,160 kW).[SUP][1][/SUP]

After the alarm had been raised via Kenya, USS Stout from Combined Task Force 150 was sent to her aid.[SUP][4][/SUP] The ship was on a voyage from Oman to Tanzania and was not carrying any passengers. USS James E. Williams also responded. Stout provide the ship with 7,800 US gallons (30,000 l; 6,500 imp gal) of fuel and supplied the ten crew with food and water. Nimeupenda hii topic, mmeongea mambo ambayo na ya maana na inatubidi watanzania tufikirie hayo, jamani hii ajali inauma sana..tena inauma mno kwa kuwa hakuna cha kusema ni Mungu amewachukua bali ni uzembe wa watu fulani ndio umepelekea vifo vya wenzetu. Mungu azilaze roho za marehemu mahali pema peponi. Ipo siku tu tutashinda, hawa wanasiasa wabovu watatukoma.
