    IN light of modern socio-economic developmet in the current African context,do Nkurumah's views hold water anymore?

    Neo-colonialism is there to stay. Nkurumah with all his political razzmatazz plunged Ghana into economic darkness-his vision of industrialisation wherby you postpone present consumption for capital production brought untold hardship to ordinary Ghanians. He is feted as a hero only because Africa is desparate for heroes
