The Contractors Registration Board (CRB) is a government autonomous regulatory body established by Act of Parliament No. 17 of 1997 to register and 'regulate all types of contractors and to promote the development of their capacities for the purpose of protecting consumers of construction services in Tanzania
In order to carry out its functions effectively and thereby meet its objectives, it needs dynamic and creative Tanzanian Citizens who are performance driven to fill the following vacant position:
QUALIFICATIONS
Holder of Form IV/VI National Certificate with a two years full time training in secretarial duties from a reputable and recognized institution with a typing speed of 50 words per minute. Secretarial Duties and Office Practice Stage II Computer literacy and at least five years of relevant experience. Accounting knowledge is a must.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(i) To maintain office records and keep sensitive materials/documents.
(ii) To receive visitors, ascertain the nature of business and communicate the same to the Zonal Manager.
(iii) To type letters, minutes, circulars, reports, memoranda and other documents necessary for the day to day running of the Zonal office.
(iv) To maintain petty cash for Zonal Office.
(v) To prepare cash books and other accounting records.
(vi) To receive and issue stocks.
(vii) And any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
AGE LIMIT: The age limit is 40 years.
REMUNERATION:
Attractive packages shall be given to the candidate with the right qualifications, skills, experience and integrity.
