Tanzania the time has come. A time of awakening. This is the time to think the unthinkable. A time to imagine the imaginable. The time to invent and reinvent, create and recreate, construct and reconstruct. It is the time of the Tanzanian Renaissance.

Tanzania wakati ndio huu.

But, we may ask ourselves, how can we do the undoable?

Lakini, tunaweza kujiuliza, je tutafanyaje kile kisichofanyika?

Yes we can - only if we believe change is part and parcel of who we are!

Do you know the meaning of a Renaissance? Review what happened during the European Renaissance and compare it to what is happening now in Tanzania. The key comparative concepts are 'freedom of expression' and 'right to think' within the context of your 'pseudo-philosophy' of 'Thats How We Africans Are'!

    Companero:

Sisi hatuna. Sasa sijuhi tutaanzia wapi?

You can talk all you want...yap about this and that...the bottomline is you can't back up your talk with action.

Let me ask you something. Did Africa exist during the European Renaissance?

People are thinking deeply, debating profusely and inventing dramatically. The one phrase I can use to describe what I am seeing is 'Tanzanian Renaissance'!

How can you see action while you are far away - you can only read/hear the talk!

Which Africa are you talking about -the continent, the people or the idea of it?

Unabakiwa na an eighth, ambayo nayo kuna innuendos huko kwenye upinzani kichizi.

Ukipiga mahesabu wapambanaji wa kweli ni a sixteenth of the population

Ndiyo maana nasema magazeti, ambayo hata hayo hayasomwi. Au unatetea idiocracy?

Is this what Africa needs now? Samahani mkuu but your concepts or ideologies seem like zingewafaa wapigania uhuru wetu. Why look at what worked for others 200 years ago when we can look at what's working for them now? Hata kama wenzetu walipitia hizo stage it does not mean it will work for African's in the 21st century. So unless you tell us how it can practically be implimented for us now, all I have learnt from your threads is that Africa is centuries behind other countries. I hope you are open to constructive criticism.

Ok mkuu but how is your idea going to be implimented and how will it work for us now? Vutabu vinaweza kukuacha in a fantasy usipo angalia because they portray everything so romantically especially if they are written by a good writer. Ni kama Karl Maxx. If you read his writings utasema socialism is the best way to go but socialism was just a utopia of his mind and in practicality it can hardly be implemented. He had the right idea but it was impractical. Ndiyo maana USSR the biggest communist country collapsed and even China now is slowly but surely entertaining the idea of a free market.
