28 die in school trip coach crash in Switzerland

Twenty-eight people were killed when a coach packed with schoolchildren crashed in southern Switzerland as they returned to Belgium from a skiing holiday, Swiss police said.

Families, nation mourn as 22 children and six adult Belgians die in bus accident while returning from Swiss ski trip! A total of 24 pupils, aged 11 and 12, along with their teacher and a teaching assistant from the tiny Catholic school in the Leuven suburbs, were aboard the coach when it swerved and smashed at high speed into a concrete wall in the tunnel with 54 people aboard, most of them children.
