HARRY REDKNAPP was tonight SACKED by Tottenham Hotspur

The 65-year-old yesterday insisted he would never walk out of White Hart Lane.
But Redknapp was dumped following showdown talks with chairman Daniel Levy.
Redknapp met Levy earlier today to thrash out his future with just a year left on his contract.
The former West Ham and Portsmouth boss thought he had done enough to earn an extension.
But Levy was believed to be unhappy that Redknapp failed to secure Champions League football despite occupying third spot for most of last season.
Tottenham finished fourth in the Premier League — in the final Champions League spot — but missed out after Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in last month's final.
Redknapp is still negotiating a severance package and is expected to officially leave tomorrow.

This is the best thing that could have happened to Tots fans! The guy was tactically inept. One fluke season in the UCL and everybody thought he was the chosen one. No wonder the England FA never approached him for the Three Lions Job. At his best he is a Europa League Manager.

Harry Redknapp insists Tottenham would still have shown him the door even if he had managed to steer the north London club into the Champions League.

The 65-year-old, who has vowed to take another job after being sacked by Spurs on Wednesday night, says his future at the club has already been decided.
