Ndugu wana JF ambao ni wapenzi wa timu ya Yanga mnaombwa kujitokeza katika kusaidia kutoa maoni na ushauri kwa ajili ya mchakato mzima wa kuanzisha tovuti ya klabu yetu ya Yanga..Wazo la kuanzisha Tovuti hii limeanzia kule kwenye blog ya Yanga Yanga ambapo baadhi ya wapenzi wenye nia njema walishauri ianzishwe Tovuti ambayo itakuwa ni chanzo kizuri cha habari ya klabu yetu kwa kushirikiana na blog yetu hiyo.....So ni matumaini ya walio wengi kwamba mtajitokeza na kutoa maoni yenu ya nini kifanyike katika kuianzisha Tovuti hiyo...Yanga Daima mbele,Nyuma mwiko

Waheshimiwa,

Tuko wanne so far, na nadhani inabidi kazi ianze rasmi. Tayari tulianza discussion kidogo na Jimmy kuhusu hii kazi, na nadhani ni wakati sasa wa wajumbe wote kuanza kuchangia mawazo. Hapa chini naweka mawazo niliyonayo kuhusu hii kazi, na naomba na wengine mchangie kusudi kazi iendelee. tafadhali ipitieni na mtoe mawazo yenu, irekebishwe ili ije kuwa mwongozo wa hii kazi:

DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG AFRICANS SPORTS CLUB WEBSITE

1. Overview

This task force has been by members and fans of Young Africans Sports Club (aka Yanga) Tanzania for the purpose of developing a website for the club. Members of the task force agreed to volunteer their time, expertise and other resources to ensure the task is completed on time and with high level of quality.

Below is the proposed design overview and organization of the team to accomplish the task:

2. Contents of the site

It is envisioned that the site will initially start with two main sections, namely the official section of the site where official information will be shown and the fans zone section for fans and members to interact and share views as follows:

a. Official Site for the club

This will be the main part of the site and will contain official information of the club. This information will be authorized by the leadership of the club and mechanisms will be devised to ensure timely update of such information. The main components of this part of the site will be:

aa. Club Information (The Club)

This shall include such important information of the club as Mission and Vision of the club, History and Award the team(s) have had over the past many years. This information shall be made available by the club officials and shall be updated regularly by authorized officials.

bb. News and Events

This section shall contain current and up-to-date news and events foe the club in particular and sports in general. Such news and events shall be updated regularly, including possibility of many writers contributing their stories. News articles shall be editable by writers / editors with little or no knowledge of website design.

cc. Fixtures and Results

The fixtures and results section shall contain up-to-date information of the teams' fixtures and results for national and international tournaments. The results section shall have a facility for live reporting of matches results on real time (during the match). The official results and match statistics shall be posted to the website regularly.

dd. Players and Staff

Information on and about players of all teams shall be posted on this section of the site. Public reports and statistics shall be posted by team managers and officials and updated regularly. Information about club Officials and teams' staff shall be displayed.

ee. Membership

This section shall allow authenticated members to login and conduct business with club like paying membership fees, communicating with leaders or applying for membership.

ff. Sponsors

this section shall list with appreciation all the club sponsors.

gg. Online store

This section shall be developed at a later stage to sell club merchandize online.

b. Fans Zone site

This section shall be a Fans zone section with members' blogs and facilities to interact and share stories.

3. Work organization structure

From the above site content proposal, it is proposed that the site be developed with feature and tools to allow interaction and real-time update of content.


It is proposed there that the site should have a database backend and interactive feature on the web front end. The database shall be designed to be a cool repository of information requiring minimal administration. The front end shall have light forms to allow update of the database via portable devices and under limited bandwidth.


With the above design concerns in mind, the following are proposed to constitute a taskforce team:

a. Project Manager

b. Lead/Senior developer

c. Graphics Developer

d. Content Manager/ Analyst

e. Database Developer

The above team composition proposal takes into account the fact that team members will be working voluntary bases, and since there may be more or less than the proposed five team members, the available members shall be encouraged to take more than one role.

Descriptions of team roles include the Project Manager (PM) who shall manage the entire project including communications with club members, fans, and club leadership. The PM shall also manage work schedules although team members shall be required to manage their own schedules. Once completed, the PM shall coordinate the launch of the site with club officials.

The Lead or senior developer (LD) shall take charge of all design, development and deployment of the site. The LD shall work closely with the Graphics Designer (GD) and Database Developer (DD) to ensure seamless integration of the site. The GD shall take lead of Graphics and user interface design and development; and the DD shall take charge of Data and database design and development.

The Content Manager / Analyst (CM) shall involve organization of all contents, collection of contents, data entry and collection of photographs into an archive. The CM shall also take lead of documentation of the entire development process and manuals.

4. Work Schedule

It is estimated that such a task could take between 4 – 6 month depending on the commitment of the team members and support from other members, fans and leaders. Details of the Work breakdown shall be discussed and finalized by team members.


5. Others

Any other issues that may be skipped in this initial thoughts document

Hiyo ni sehemu tu ya lile dude....kuna mjinga mmoja wakati wa high school ilikuwa Yanga ikishinda lazima bweni likeshe, yeye Pepe Kale mie Bileku Mpasi tunawatumbuiza na "Yanga Afrika"!! Hahahahaha....
