It also has an advanced exploration nickel project, Kabanga Nickel and an advanced development gold project, Buzwagi Project.

Helpdesk specialist

We are seeking a dedicated, self motivated and highly organized Helpdesk Specialist to join the IT Department. The successful applicant will join a team of qualified IT Personnel at Bulyanhulu mine site who will support and carry out all duties assigned by the company.
Reporting Line: IT System Administrator
Location: Bulyanhulu Gold Mine; 1000km inland from Dar es Salaam; Shinyanga
Regional, Kahama District.
Work Schedule: Rotational Status, (8 weeks on 4 weeks off)

The principle duties include, but are not limited to:
• Provide 1st Level system Administration support to the site
• To provide coverage for support calls and ensure the calls are actioned accordingly
• Site TV Signal administration and troubleshooting
• DSTV Portable Dish installation, configuration and troubleshooting for end users
• Site Public Addressing (PA) system administration and installation
• Provide support to users on installation and orientation of software
• Backup all data daily
• Recover data from backup and archive tapes as required
• Maintain technical support documentation in accordance with Procedures



The successful applicants must have the following qualifications/skills:
• Advanced level certificate of secondary education and IT Diploma holder
• Previous experience in the same position will be an added advantage
• Ability to prioritize heavy workload
• Relate to all levels of the organization
• Continually promote safety in the work place
• Good communication skills in English and Swahili
