These are small and medium financing from TZS 7. 5 million to TZS 1 billion depending on the size, nature and viability of the enterprise to be financed. The credit tenor / term depend on repayment capacity, anticipated cash flows, credit amount and credit purpose.
Benefits of NMB Small and Medium Enterprises Loans

• Easy to obtain from our existing largest network of branches all over the country

Eligibility for SME Loans

• Application letter
• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age with at least business experience
• Cash flow projections for the period of the credit
• Audited financial statements for the last three years and up-to date management accounts for financing above TZS 15Mln
• Business License (certified copy) including from specific sector e.g. Pharmaceutical Board, liquor licence, forest licence, EWURA etc.
• Tax Identification Number and Tax Clearance Certificate (certified copy)
• List and certified copies of security/ collateral documents (with ownership documents) that may be pledged to the bank if the credit is granted.
• Bank statement for at least recent six months with satisfactory account turnover
• Valuation reports done by a professional valuer for financing above TZS 30 million attached with official search for the title deed.
• Business plan for medium and large businesses and simple investment plan for small loans up to TZS 30 million
• Bills of quantities, technical specifications and drawings if the loan is for financing the constructions.
• Suppliers’ invoice if the loan is for the purchase of vehicles, equipment, machinery or any assets of this nature
• A photograph, in colour, of the business premise and asset(s) to be pledged as security (four dimensional photograph)
