I think even Ndinda has posted several pictures showing a skyline which im sure will answer your question. I dont know what makes u thnk i have not been in Nairobi! it appears u hv not been in Dar lately to see what is going on.
As i said there are some aspect Nairobi is far as ahead and i wouldnt consume my energy to argue about.
There r things that have happened in nairobi the entire region should take it as an example(thika highway in particular).

As for Kibera pictures, personally im not pro-kenyan slams bashing and i apologise on behalf of my bros if they offended u.
But think abt this, if it is a fact tht the gap btn Nairobi and Dar has markedly narrowed in just over a decade, is it too optimistic for a tanzanian to believe in the near future Dar will far ahead?
People that live in denial will never even appreciate no congratulate the road we hve come from but would like to hang on the "Kibera" mantra to justify their inadequacies and to stroke their national egos. Congratulations for such nairobi pictures people; Thumbs up.

Haya mwenyeji Mkuu, kama unatoka mabwepande ambapo kuna vyandarua, just feel free and post those pictures of tents. Inaitwa positive self image...Aisee...Ama?!

Dhuks you are right. No story is perfect when it is told by one person and in a one-sided manner. Kibera is Nairobi just like Karen is.

That's where you get it wrong bro. Tanzanians have no jealousy of Kenya. We don't bother much about Kenya the way Kenyans seem to bother about Tanzania. Before running comparisons like these it's important to examine the history and value systems of each society first.

It's obvious that they do, just read this forum and see what your compatriots have to say...that kind of vitriol can only be generated by envy.

Hello we have been fighting for a long time over all sorts of things. I would like this thread to be different, let us post pictures of our suburbs formal settlement and cityscapes only (No slums). Post a picture and the name of the neighborhood, city and country. Can anyone translate the statement above to kiswahili? Pics please!! No fighting this time!

But you and your friends have trouble understanding English even that counterproductive snob above can't understand simple english. Very unprodctive. I was referring to the above post by Mekatilili. Which the bro indicated no slums. that is why I continue saying piques will kill you guys. The message says no slums please!! which a simple third grade student can differentiate.

      Thank you!!......................... ......

Default Hope For Kibera 'AFRICA LARGEST SLUM"!!!

This are people initially living in slums that are now getting mobile to their new low-cost Housing units complete with running water effective sewerage systems and electricity.

NB I have put these pictures here so that those engulfed in piques and poor self image and stumble at no-brainers, will have something else for analysis. Dar-millionaire you say it depends on the values of each society. I hope you are not keen in taking me round and round in circles in that endless Ujamaa Idealist critiques,
