      Za leo wana JF,

      Mimi kwa sasa hivi ni mjamzito wa karibia miezi miwili sasa.

      Je, ni lishe zipi zinazomfaa mwana mama mda huu na matunzo yepi yanayotakiwa wakati huu.

      Nashukuru kwa misaada yenu.

      Kwa ajili ya afya ya mama na mtoto ni muhimu sana mwanamke apate chakula bora. Ukosekanaji wa chakula bora kunaweza kukasababisha mtoto kuzaliwa kabla ya mda wake au na uzito mdogo ambao unaweza ukachangia katika kuzuia ukuaji wa ubongo na mwili.

      Kwa mama anaweza akapata anaemia, infection, matatizo katika placenta, matatizo katika labor, c-section(kuzaa kwa upasuaji wakati wa kujifungua), kutokupona kwa haraka, matatizo katika kunyonyesha, toxemia na pre-eclempisa(haya ni magonjwa yanayosababishwa na maini kutoweza kufanya kazi yake vizuri na mwili kujitahidi kutoa protein kutoka sehemu nyingine za mwili kwa sababu hamna protein ya kutosha).

      Dalili zake ni pamoja na kuwa na protein kwenye mkojo, blood pressure kuwa juu, kuumwa kwa kichwa, kusikia kizungu zungu, kuzimia, kuvimba kwa viungo n.k

      Mama mjamzito anatakiwa apate 100 grams za protein kwa siku.

      Ifuatayo ni mlo kamili anaotakiwa apate mama mjamzito kila siku ya ujauzito wake kwa afya bora:

      Maziwa na vyakula vya jamii ya maziwa: Glasi nne au zaidi ya maziwa ya aina yoyote pamoja na/au vyakula vyenye jamii ya maziwa kama jibini, mtindi,siagi, ice cream. Maziwa ni muhimu kwa protein, calcium, vitamins na virutubisho vingi. Vitasaidia ukuaji wa mifupa, misuli na nerves. Ni muhimu kwa damu yenye afya, kusaidia usingizi na kusawazisha mdundo wa moyo.

      Mayai: Mayai mawili kwa siku husaidia kuupa mwili protein, vitamins minerals na vitamin A ambayo itasaidia kuzuia infections.

      Protein: Serving mbili ya samaki, maini , kuku, nyama ya ngombe, mbuzi, kondoo au nguruwe, maharagwe au jibini. Kusaidia ujengaji mifupa, meno, misuli, ubongo na mwili kwa ujumla. Ukosekanaji wa protein ya kutosha kutasababisha kuchoka, uvimbe na kutojisikia kula au appetite ndogo.

      Mboga za majani: Spinach, cabbage, collard greends, mchicha, matembele. Mboga hizi ziwe fresh na zile zenye rangi ya kijani iliyokolea(hizi ndio zenye virutubisho vya kutosha). Mboga hizi zitakupa Vitamin A na B, pia virutubisho vitakavyosaidia mwili kuabsorb protein ya kutosha, ukuaji wa mwili, na utengenezaji wa damu. Kutopata mboga za kutosha kunaweza sababisha mama kupata anemia.

      Whole Grains: Vipande vinne vya Mkate wa whole grain, mkate wa mahindi, vitaupa mwili vitamin B na carbohydrate kwa ukuaji wa misuli na nerves.

      Vyakula vyenye vitamin C: Kipande kimoja au viwili vya machungwa au juisi ya ndimu, machungwa, nyanya. Vitamin C itasaidia uterus kuwa na nguvu ya kutosha ili kufanya kazi vizuri wakati wa labor, pia itasaidia kulinda mwili na infection na kusaidia kuabsorb iron kwenye mwili.

      Siagi na mafuta: Serving tatu za maparachichi, siagi, olive oil au flax seed oil.

      Matunda yenye rangi ya njano au orange: Huupa mwili vitamin A hii husaidia kulinda kibofu na figo kupata infections.

      Maini kama unaypenda ni mazuri kwa protein pia.

      Kunywa maji mengi ya kutosha. Maji huchangia kwa asilimia 75 ya uzito wa mtoto wako atakapozaliwa. Usipopata maji ya kutosha utaishiwa na nguvu kwa asilimia 20 na kupata matatizo ya dehydration na kichwa kuuma.

      Chumvi ya kutosha kusaidia kuzunguka kwa damu kutoka mwilini kwenda kwenye placenta. Kutopata chumvi ya kutosha kunaweza kusababisha miguu kuuma na uchovu.
      Kumbuka kwamba vyakula vyote vinaweza kuwa ni muhimu mwilini lakini huzidiana kulingana na mahitaji na hali ya mtu kwa wakati maalumu.

      Mahitaji ya madini na vitamini mwilini wakati wa ujauzito huwa ni makubwa, hususani madini ya kashiamu, chuma na Vitamin B9 (folic acid).

      MADINI YA KALISI (Calcium)
      Wakati wa ujauzito, madini mengi ya kalisi husafirishwa kutoka kwa mama kwenda kwa mtoto kwa ajili ya kuimarisha mifupa na meno. Katika kipindi cha miezi sita ya mwanzo, mama huhifadhi madini hayo mwilini mwake. Kiumbe kinapokamilisha umbo lake katika kipindi cha miezi mitatu ya mwisho, hifadhi hiyo huanza kutumiwa na kiumbe hicho, hivyo mahitaji yake kuongezeka.

      Katika kipindi hiki, mjamzito anatakiwa kula kwa wingi vyakula vinavyoongeza madini ya kalisi kama vile maziwa na vyakula vitokanavyo na maziwa. Kukiwa na upungufu wa madini hayo, meno ya mama na mifupa huathirika pia.

      MADINI YA CHUMA (Iron)
      Mahitaji ya madini ya chuma nayo huwa makubwa kwa wajawazito. Madini hayo ni muhimu kwa utengenezaji wa damu ambayo huhitajika kwa wingi na mama pamoja na mtoto.

      Madini joto hupatikana kwa kula kwa wingi vyakula kama vile nyama, samaki, mayai, vyakula vilivyopikwa kwa nafaka zisizokobolewa (ugali wa dona, mkate mweusi, n.k) na mboga za majani kama vile spinachi na brokoli. Ili kupata madini hayo ya kutosha kutokana na vyakula hivyo, inashauriwa mjamzito kutumia pia vidonge vya Vitamin C (Vitamin C food supplements).

      VITAMIN B9 (Folic Acid)
      Vitamini hii ni muhimu sana kwa mjamzito, ni kosa kubwa sana la kiafya kwa mjamzito kuwa na upungufu wa vitamin hii. Vitamin B9 ndiyo inayohusika na ukuzaji na uimarishaji wa mfumo wa fahamu wa kiumbe tumboni.

      Aidha, Vitamin hii ndiyo inayotoa kinga ili viungo vya mtoto visiathirike na kuepusha uzaaji wa watoto walemavu au wenye kasoro za viungo kama ‘midomo ya sungura’ na kadhalika.

      Vyakula vyenye kiwango kikubwa cha Vitamin B9 ni pamoja na mboga za majani, juisi ya machungwa, mapeasi, vyakula vilivyopikwa kwa ngano na mchele (hasa brown rice) na mayai.

      Hata hivyo, kutokana na hali ya vyakula vyetu, mjamzito hawezi kupata kiwango kinachotakiwa cha vitamin hiyo kwa kula vyakula peke yake.

      Ili kupata kiwango cha vitamin hiyo kinachotakiwa, mjamzito atatakiwa kutumia pamoja na vidonge vya lishe vya Vitamin B9 ili kuepuka upungufu huo. Inashauriwa kutumia vidonge hivyo miezi michache kabla ya kushika mimba na katika kipindi cha miezi mitatu ya mwisho ya ujauzito, kipindi ambacho vitamin hiyo huhitajika kwa wingi.

      Kwa ujumla, lishe bora ni muhimu kwa mjamzito katika kipindi chote cha ujauzito wake. Matatizo mengi ya kuzaa watoto wenye ulemavu wa aina mbalimbali, hutokana na upungufu wa madini na vitamin muhimu mwilini katika kipindi cha ujauzito.

      kumbuka mwili ni kama mashine na any stress husababisha release ya info na chemicals ambazo zaweza kumuathiri mtoto fro the first trimester

      Ila kuna ambavyo sio vizuri kula. Mf. maini kwasababu kazi yake ni kuchuja sumu kwahiyo yanaweza yakawa na masalia ambayo sio mazuri kwa mtoto, aina fulani za samaki (fanya kareasearch ujue) maana zina mercury, nyama ambayo haijaiva vizuri(red meat), caffeine (angalau upunguze kiasi), alcohol na vingine vingine.
