      Ndizi ni kinga ya magonjwa haya.

      Faida na maajabu yaliyomo kwenye tunda hili.

      Ndizi ina aina tatu za kipikee za sukari zinazojulikana kitaalamu kama Sucrose, Fructose na Glucose na vile vile ina kiasi kingi cha ufumwele (fibre) ambacho husaidia sana katika usagaji wa chakula tumboni.

      Ndizi ina uwezo mkubwa wa kuongeza na kuimarisha nishati ya mwili. Unaweza kupata nishati ya kufanyakazi ya muda wa dakika 90 kwa kula ndizi mbili tu. Bila shaka ndizi ni tunda muhimu sana kwa wanamichezo. na ni tunda lenye uwezo pia wa kuponya na kuzuia matatizo mengi ya kiafya:

      MFAIDHAIKO WA AKILI (DEPRESSION):
      Kwa mujibu wa utafiti uliofanywa na Chama Cha Afya ya Akili cha Taifa (MIND) cha nchini Uingereza, kwa watu wanaosumbuliwa na tatizo la mfadhaiko wa akili, watu wengi waliondokana na tatizo hilo hujisikia vizuri baada ya kula ndizi mbivu. Hali hii inatokana na ukweli kwamba ndizi ina kirutubisho kinachojulikana kama tryptophan, ambacho ni aina fulani ya protini inayotumika mwilini kumfanya mtu kuwa mtulivu na mwenye furaha.

      MATATIZO WAKATI WA HEDHI (PMS)
      Kama wewe ni miongoni mwa wale akina mama wanaopatwa na matatizo mbalimbali ya kiafya wakati wa hedhi, unashauriwa kula ndizi mbivu na unaweza kuponywa. Vitamin B6 iliyomo kwenye ndizi, hurekebisha kiwango cha sukari ambacho huweza kuathiri hali ya mtu.

      UPUNGUFU WA DAMU (ANAEMIA):
      Ndizi ikiwa ni chanzo kizuri cha madini aina ya chuma (iron), inaweza kuwa ni dawa ya kuzuia na kuponya upunguvu wa damu kwa sababu madini ya chuma huamsha uzalishaji wa chembechembe za damu mwilini.

      SHINIKIZO LA DAMU:
      Tunda hili ni la aina ya kipekee, lina kiwango kikubwa cha madini ya potasiamu (potassium) na wakati huo huo lina kiasi kidogo sana cha chumvi (sodium) hivyo kulifanya kuwa tunda bora katika kupambana na tatizo la kupanda na kushuka kwa shinikizo la damu.

      Ukweli huo, hivi karibuni umeifanya Mamlaka ya Dawa na Chakula ya nchini Marekani, iwaruhusu wazalishaji na wauzaji wakubwa wa ndizi nchini humo, kutangaza rasmi uwezo wa ndizi katika kupambana na hatari ya shinikizo la damu na kupatwa na kiharusi (stroke) kwa binadamu.

      NGUVU YA AKILI:
      Hivi karibuni, wanafunzi wapatao 200 wa Shule ya Twickenham nchini Uingereza, walisaidiwa kufaulu mitihani yao kwa kula ndizi mbivu wakati wa mlo wa asubuhi (breakfast), wakati wa mapumziko na wakati wa chakula cha mchana, ndizi ziliongeza uwezo wa akili zao. Utafiti unaonesha kuwa potasiamu iliyojazana kwenye ndizi, ina uwezo wa kumsaidia mwanafunzi kuamsha uwezo wake wa kujisomea.

      MNING'INIO (HANGOVERS):
      Moja ya dawa ya haraka ya kuondoa uchovu unaotokana na ulevi wa jana yake (hangover) ni kunywa ‘Milkshake’ iliyotengenezwa kwa ndizi na kutiwa asali. Ndizi hutuliza tumbo, ikisaidiwa na asali, hurejesha kiwango cha sukari kilichopungua kwenye damu ,wakati maziwa hutuliza na kurejesha maji kwenye mfumo wake.

      Mbali na matatizo yaliyoelezwa hapo juu, ndizi pia husaidia katika matatizo mengine mengi kama vile kutuliza mishipa ya fahamu, kuondoa wasiwasi, kutuliza vidonda vya tumbo, kuondoa asidi tumboni, kushusha joto mwilini, kurekebisha mapigo ya moyo, n.k

      Hivyo ndizi ni tiba ya magonjwa mengi na ni bora, ukiilinganisha na Epo (Apple), ndizi ina protini mara nne zaidi, wanga mara mbili, vitamin A na chuma mara tano na vitamini na madini mengine mara mbili zaidi ya epo. Mwisho; USIWEKE NDIZI KWENYE JOKOFU!

      Ni kinga dhidi ya magonjwa ya moyo, presha, vidonda vya tumbo, saratani ya figo, kukosa choo

      Ndizi mbivu ni tunda ambalo linafahamika na kila mtu, lakini sina hakika kama watu wengi wanafahamu umuhimu na faida za tunda hili ambalo linapatikana kirahisi sana nchini. Bei yake ni kati ya shilingi 50 na 150 tu, kiwango cha pesa ambacho kila mtu anaweza kukimudu.

      Iwapo ulikuwa hujui umuhimu wa kula ndizi mbivu, leo utalazimika kubadili mtizamo wako na kuziangalia ndizi kama tunda muhimu katika kuupa nguvu na kuulinda mwili wako dhidi ya maradhi hatari ambayo hayana tiba. Watu wa michezo pia wanapaswa kuliona tunda hili kuwa ni muhimu sana katika kuipa miili yao nguvu.


      KINGA DHIDI YA SHINIKIZO LA DAMU NA MARADHI YA MOYO

      Kwa mujibu wa utafiti wa kisayansi, ndizi ni chanzo kikubwa cha Potassium, madini ambayo ni muhimu sana katika kuweka shinikizo la damu mwilini katika hali yake ya kawaida (Normal Blood Pressure), na ufanyaji kazi mzuri wa moyo. Kwa kuwa ndizi moja ina wastani wa 467mg za madini aina ya Potasiamu na 1mg ya sodiamu (chumvi), ndizi moja tu kwa siku inaweza kukupa kinga ya maradhi ya shinikizo la damu na matatizo ya moyo.

      Ukweli kuhusu vyakula vyenye kiwango kikubwa cha madini ya Potasiamu katika kushusha shinikizo la damu mwilini, umethibitishwa na tafiti nyingi za kisayansi. Kwa mujibu wa jarida moja la masuala ya afya nchini Marekani, zaidi ya Wamarekani 40,000 wa kike na kiume, walifanyiwa utafiti kwa muda wa miaka minne na ikagundulika kwamba watu wanaokula vyakula vyenye kiasi kikubwa cha madini ya Potasiamu na kirutubisho cha Fiber (Ufumwele), wako katika hatari ndogo ya kupatwa na kiharusi.

      Aidha, utafiti mwingine uliofanywa na taasisi moja ya masuala ya tiba ijulikanayo kama Archives of Internal Medicine, ya nchini Marekani, pia ilithibitisha kwamba ulaji wa vyakula vyenye kiasi kikubwa cha ufumwele (fiber) kama vile ndizi, husaidia sana kutoa kinga dhidi ya maradhi ya moyo. Na katika suala hili, zaidi ya watu 10,000 walifanyiwa utafiti kwa muda wa miaka 19.


      KINGA DHIDI Y VIDONDA VYA TUMBO

      Kwa muda mrefu sana imethibitishwa kwamba ndizi ina virutubisho vyenye uwezo wa kupambana na asidi tumboni hivyo kutoa kinga dhidi ya vidonda vya tumbo (stomach Ulsers) na kutoa ahueni kwa mtu ambaye tayari ameathirika. Katika utafiti mmoja, ilkibainika kwamba mtu akila mchangayiko wa ndizi mbivu na maziwa freshi, huzuia utokaji wa asidi tumboni inayosababisha vidonda vya tumbo.

      Kwa mujibu wa utafiti wa kisayansi juu ya suala hili, ndizi hutoa kinga na ahueni ya vidonda vya tumbo kwa njia mbili. Mosi: virutubisho vilivyomo kwenye ndizi huzipa uhai seli zenye kazi ya kutengeneza utandu ambao hutoa aina fulani ya urojo (mucus) unaotumika kama kizuizi dhidi ya asidi tumboni.

      Pili: kuna virutubisho vingine kwenye ndizi ambavyo kwa kitaalamu vinajulikana kama ‘Protease’ ambavyo husaidia kuondoa bakteria tumboni ambao wanaelezewa kuwa ndiyo chanzo cha vidonda vya tumbo. Hivyo kama wewe hujaptwa na vidonda vya tumbo, kwa kula ndizi mara kwa mara unajipa kinga madhubuti na kama tayari umeathirika na vidonda, kwa kula ndizi utajipa ahueni kubwa.

      NDIZI KAMA TIBA KWA WENYE MATATIZO YA CHOO

      Ndizi ni muhimu sana katika kulainisha na kusafisha tumbo na kumuwezesha mtu kupata choo. Mbali ya kusaidia upatikanaji wa choo kwa wenye matatizo hayo, lakini pia hutoa ahueni kwa wagonjwa wa kipindupindu. Mtu aliyepatwa na kipindupindu hupoteza kiasi kikubwa cha madini ya Potasiamu, hivyo kwa kula ndizi ataweza kurejesha mwilini maidni yake yaliyopotea na kuupa mwili nguvu yake.

      UIMARISHAJI WA NURU YA MACHO

      Wakati ulipokuwa mdogo, bila shaka uliwahi kuambiwa na mama kuwa mtu akila karoti, atakuwa akiona vizuri. Bila shaka hakukosea, lakini sasa ukiwa mtu mzima unaambiwa kwamba ulaji wa matunda, ikiwemo ndizi, ndiyo kinga hasa dhidi ya matatizo ya kutokuona vizuri uzeeni. Utafiti wa hivi karibuni unaonesha kwamba ulaji wa matunda kwa wingi kila siku, hupunguza kwa asilimia 36 matatizo ya kutokuona vizuri kutokana na mtu kuwa na umri mkubwa.

      KINGA DHIDI YA SARATANI YA FIGO

      Utafiti wa hivi karibuni uliochapishwa na Jarida la Kimataifa la masuala ya Saratani (International Journal of Cancer) la nchini Marekani, umeonesha kwamba ulaji wa mara kwa mara wa matunda halisi, hasa ndizi mbivu, ni kinga madhubuti ya mwili. Zaidi ya wawake 50,000 wenye umri kati ya miaka 40 na 76 waliofanyiwa utafiti, ulionesha kuwa wale waliokula wastani wa milo 2.5 ya matunda na mboga kila siku, walipunguza hatari ya kupatwa na saratani ya figo kwa asilimia 40.

      Baadhi ya vitamini na madini yaliyomo kwenye ndizi ni pamoja na Vitamini B6, Vitamin C, Potassium, Dietary Fibre na Mnganese. Hivyo utaona kwamba tunda la ndizi ni muhimu kwa sababu limesheheni vitamini na madini muhimu katika mwili wa binadamu. Kuanzia leo itazame ndizi kama tunda muhimu sana katika ustawi wa afya yako na ni kinga dhidi ya maradhi unayoweza kuyaepuka kesho kwa kula tunda hili kwa wingi leo!
