Project Water & Sanitation Engineer (Short Term) – One Position – DSM
Reporting to the Project Manager of Community Water supply and Sanitation Project(CWSSP), the Project Engineer is primarily responsible for Conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) prior to implementation of community water and sanitation schemes, designing water supply schemes, Liaise with District Water Engineer to develop water and sanitation facilities, Supervise contractors during implementation of community water schemes to ensure that they fulfill their tasks as per contractual agreements, Prepare and issue payment certificates to contractors, Re-design of water and sanitation schemes where necessary and compiling Monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports, The position will be involved significantly in technical activities. To qualify for this position the applicant should have proven working experience in water projects desirably with local government authorities, water authorities, community water schemes, local water engineers and contractors. The applicant MUST be registered by Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and a graduate in Civil Engineering (Water Resources)
